Would you like to be a part of some of the best weddings and events Perth has to offer? Well, now is your chance, because we are looking to add an amazing Event Assistant to our fab team.
We need someone who is passionate about events and styling, who can assist with event set-ups and pack-downs, someone who is physically fit, reasonably strong and is not afraid to lift furniture and get their hands dirty. We need a team-player with a can-do attitude, who can laugh under pressure and is not under the illusion that events management is a “pretty” job.
Just to be totally clear, the Event Assistant role covers all the before and after tasks and for the most part, you will not be in attendance at the events themselves.
This role will commence immediately and will be required for next wedding season also, with the opportunity to become a long-term, casual team member. Travel forms a part of this role as we often head to the South West for weddings, so availability for travel is essential.
Whilst this is a seasonal role, which requires mostly weekend work, reliability and availability are an absolute must. Events students and industry folk looking for a supplement income are welcome to apply. However, if you are a budding Wedding Planner or Stylist, who just wants to see how we work, you need not apply.
This is not an internship, it is a paid role, however it is a casual role with sporadic requirements around events, the dates of which will be known well in advance. At this stage, there is also no promise of promotion into a more permanent role at White Events.
