We are looking for an extremely stylish, ridiculously organized Events Coordinator… What we want in this new addition to our team is maturity, experience and an understanding of how much admin and not-so-pretty behind the scenes work is involved in events management. This role is a permanent, casual position, working from our Mount Hawthorn studio and the hours are flexible, so stylish, creative working Mums or those in their final stages of event management studies are welcome to apply. Primarily the position is an office-based role, however during the busy wedding season the role will increase to also include on-site event coordination. Which means that the successful applicant MUST be available for weekend work and from time to time, the occasional after hours meeting. Travel for destination weddings throughout WA is sometimes required also, so flexibility is essential.
We envisage that our outstanding new Events Coordinator will be impeccably presented, highly professional and have fabulous communication skills. Possessing exceptional problem solving skills, the ability to think on your feet and remain level-headed is an absolute must. Experience with Microsoft Office is essential and proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign and/or events management software is favourable, but not vital. Exposure to the wedding industry would also be advantageous. The successful applicant will have a passion for the creative and an eye for detail, as certain aspects of wedding styling will form a part of the role – perfectionists who have an issue with crinkled linen are encouraged to apply!
Applications will close on Sunday 17th May and interviews will take place towards the end of May. Please apply with a current resume and cover letter stating what relevant experience you have and what you think you would bring to White Events and this role. Applications can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org or posted to PO Box 101, Mount Hawthorn WA 6915.
Please note that due to the high number of applications we anticipate receiving, only those who make it to the interview stage will be notified.
We can’t wait to hear from you!
